3.3.3 Wholesale electricity demand profile
The wholesale electricity demand profile is the sum of the hourly retail demand, adjusted for transmission and distribution losses, which tend to be higher when demand is lower, i.e. slightly reducing the variation in the previous charts, but also slightly increasing the total in each hour.
